Why garment need desiccant?
During the transportation or warehousing, the moisture can be absorbed by the products and cause damage. The damage caused by moisture includes deformation of goods, package breakage, mildew on the garments, unpleasant odor of the garments, and so on. It is essential that we should do something to prevent the garment from suffering moisture damages during transportation and warehousing. Especially the products below need more care:
Leather, PU: jacket, shoe, wallet, hand bag, etc.
Wool: wool jacket, hat, etc.
Down: down jacket
Silk: dress, pashmina
Washer wrinkle fabric
Other natural and artificial fabrics
By using a suitable amount of desiccant at very little cost, customers can not only maintain the goods in perfect condition and thereby eliminating loss and complaint.

How to use the desiccant?
Commonly, the amount of desiccant should be applied based on the size of cartons/ boxes. The table below shows the usage of Chunwang desiccant in cartons/boxes.
This table is given for indication only. Depending on the volume of free air or the type of material inside the cartons/boxes (like wood containing moisture), quantities may need to be adjusted.
