What is a silica gel desiccant?
Silica gel is a highly active adsorbent material, usually prepared by reacting sodium silicate and sulfuric acid and undergoing aging, acid bubble and other physical processes. Silica gel is an amorphous substance with a chemical molecular formula of mSiO2.nH2O, which is chemically stable.
